National Prescribing Curriculum

Encouraging confident and rational prescribing

The National Prescribing Curriculum (NPC) is a series of interactive case-based modules covering a range of conditions. Designed to develop and practice skills for the emerging prescriber, these modules are a valuable learning tool for Australian medical and pharmacy students.

The modules follow a stepwise approach as outlined in the WHO Guide to Good Prescribing.

“The modules are fantastic; cases are engaging and realistic, the prescribing activity is very useful to cement my understanding. Also, very useful to go through non-pharmacological management.”
